Howard County Recreation and Parks has teamed up with Mid-Atlantic Lacrosse to provide the premier lacrosse tournament event.
Tournament Details
- Only Maryland-based clubs are eligible to participate. This helps reduce travel costs that have been incurred by the clubs over the past few years.
- All of the Elite Open games will be played on newly built athletic turf facilities. They are stadium designed facilities with bleachers for fans and college coaches to easily view games. The Open Championship will use the same fields for their Friday games, and then will use adjacent grass fields for Saturday games.
- Each turf field has an operating scoreboard that will be used to display game time and score.
- Each turf field has lights, which allows for night games.
- There is adequate parking at each facility.
- All games will be a full 50 minutes in duration with a running clock.

Howard County Recreation and Parks facilities:
- 2013 and 2014 - Western Regional Park
- 2015 and 2016 - Cedar Lane Park
- 2017, 2018 and 2019 - Blandair Park
Costs
$1,300 per team
- $500 deposit due upon registration
- $800 balance due by May 1, 2012

- Open Championship: July 6 & 7, 2012
- Elite 8 - July 7 & 8, 2012
